That I can’t tell you. Probably never if I’m guessing.I don’t know for sure though.I got the truck with it in 2022. I don’t think it’s been changed though still is in factory red color even though it could have been painted and the part number doesn’t have any R or X rebuilt tag.

Earth strap for engine is good?

Starter and alternator have been replaced in the past?

I always try to prevent issues on old machines with unknown history and try to at least replace alternator brushes and or voltage regulator if alternator manufacturer brand voltage regulator is available. Slip ring can be replaced too, but when not absolutely neccessary I totally avoid replacing them, since some alternator stators are rtv d in aluminium housing and to take them apart means that most of the times you mess up the alignment and have issues.

Starters if brush plate is not spot welded I just replace whole brush holders, front bushing, grease planetary gears if present, throw in new bendix, new solenoid and it should be good for long time to come IF can get good parts that are made by starter manufacturer. Aftermarket bendix is super crap, worse ones lasted only one or two starts, they will wreck ring gear too.

I would absolutely avoid reman starters and alternators and ac pumps, unless I have fixed them myself for cheap.

Starter and alternator I would check from dealer first, and for comparision look prices for mahle, bosch, delco remy, denso. If there is steep difference I have bought those good brand starters, usually the engine manufacturer uses them too. Have had no bad experiences with them so far. Sometimes delco starter is hard to find, but bosch one will cross reference it and is available for cheap. I have even repurpoused old starters from "wrong" stuff since mounting flanges are standard usually, I have just swapped over bendix drives to match ring gears and so far have been succesful. Sometimes have bought new bosch starter and another bendix to make it fit more obscure hard to find starter.
