REAL bad!. more than 90% of all de-mandate programming that i review a year is absolutely harmful to the engine over time. Most of them have the ecm perpetually stuck in rapid DPF warm-up mode, over-spooling the turbo all the time, + scraping the pistons internally to generate extra heat for a system that is not there any more. It eventually takes out head gaskets, cracks the head or a piston,. etc.. because the ecm is stuck in this mode forever once those cans have been hollowed out.
