| RE: 2010 Peterbilt 387 High Beam Relay Location Another one of my posts to supply the final solution to. Seems the 60W Auxlito bulbs draw less than half the amperage of the factory halogen bulbs and the chassis ECU reads that as a bulb failure. It will turn on lower voltage to the high beam to compensate. I installed 120W Auxlito bulbs and they draw about 80% of the factory current and now there is no issues. With new housings, better bulbs and new wiring harnesses I can see so much better driving at night. The best part IMO is that nobody flashes their high beams at me thinking I have my high beams on. That's a big concern for me because like most of us, I detest having someone's poor lighting choice blind me. I really don't want to be THAT guy! | |||
