Engine swap gone bad….. help

I was hoping you would respond Rawse… I have no problem using the old ecm however the old engine was programmed at the 400 hp calibration is their anyway to program it to a 450 version? Do I have to input the trim codes for the injectors on the new motor to the old ecm?

Just so their is no miscommunication I am trying to get the 79940637 engine to run in the truck.

Just checked with Cummins the engine harness is identical same part number for both #4373989..
