Random shut down

Yes, the truck runs fine and the cruise control works but that's about it. None of the switches on the center console work...PDL, engine brake, suspension dump, none of those are working. Come to find out. I've now been told by the dealer that the old ECM I brought to them was crashed so they were not able to put my vehicle specifics in.... I'm taking the truck into them the first of this next week.
