isl 9g ecm hr reset

Good afternoon,
Over the past few weeks I have tried multiple times with checkbox unchecked but the ecm time clock is still showing 12000 hr engine hr time.

Do I need to calbrate to completely different calibration and then re calibrate it to correct calibration to reset the ecu time parameter?

I do not have a copy of the old ecm template presently. If I copy similar truck template with lower engine hours will that overwrite the engine hours?
