Being it is a CM870 ... you can always have the programming flashed back to 100% factory and unplug the EGR temp sensor.. putting the ecm into its it in non-egr operating mode that way. By factory, I would have to remove the ECU and take to the dealer? That might be an option I would consider. I would like to know the truck is safe to run and that would be a good step. Harvest is here and I need the truck to haul

FYI: The exhaust gas pressure corssover tube itself hardly ever clogs up.. its the passageway thru the thermostat housing, directly below the sensor that almost always does.

I appreciate the tip. I did blow air down the hole where the sensor goes, when I was installing the new sensor. I was getting the short to ground code and that's why I went ahead and replaced the sensor. Air seemed to flow thru without much restriction.
