Hello thanks for letting me join. I'm installing a 2016 6.7 out of a freightliner m2 106 into a pickup. I've read and studied what it takes to get into the ecm and very similar to tuning l.s. engines with open source software. I get the xcal and ecfg files. Same as a .bin and xdf file for tunerpro. My questions are.

1. How do I tell if I have the right ecfg file for my software?

2. Does anyone have a DT90284 xcal file.

3 from my research the DT 90284 is set to 260 hp what is a better hp software? Motor is 6.7 b101 Cpl is 4046 16.3:1 cr. Im assuming I can turn it up safely but still learning

My diesel knowledge is mostly big cam cummins, b model cats, and 671 detroits. But have been inside 60 series, e models, and common rail. Just not the ecm side yet but planning to change that after I get my studying done. And learn as much as possible.

It sounds to me that you more likely need access to the mumble server
rather than the forum...

If someone wants to discuss and learn more about engine/ecu
programming, using CT, etc...
Then that is what my mumble voice-chat server is for.

It is far easier to discuss engine settings, share my screen, review
programming together, provide professional training, etc. on mumble, than
it is to just text chat about it on the forum.

  Join us over on mumble. The mumble voice-chat app is available on
PC or phone, and that is all that is needed. The program is free, and
it is free to join and participate. On the PC, the program is called 'Mumble'.
On the smart-phone it is called 'Mumla', or 'Plumble', or 'Mumble', it
depends on the brand of phone.

The server is private and unlisted, so it has to be added manually the
first time.The server address to connect with is 'mumble.rawze.com'. Here

Thanks Rawze I did plan on joining your mumble server just waiting on inline in the mail so I can follow along better but was wanting to get here and ask about the listed things while I waited since im not in a hurry.

I truly don't know that dt90284 is in the ecm yet but was trying to get things in place so I can famiarize myself with calterm and the files that are needed.
