| Demandating a 2350 with an internally leaking EGR cooler Well, my EGR cooler went out started leaking internally and shut my truck down. I’m ready to demandate this now farm truck. Do y’all have a protocol for de mandating without having to do the EGR tuneup, etc.? Or will I have to purchase a new EGR cooler I already have the coolant Bypass line. And I was hoping to be able to just plug everything else and shut everything else off planned on removing the DPF and that other can completely and installing dual pipes is that possible? Or do I have to Got the cans and put them back on? | |||

| RE: Demandating a 2350 with an internally leaking EGR cooler (if de-mandating it, assuming you live in a country where it is permitted)... == The bypass pipe is fine. You just need to maintain coolant flow to the back of the block. == All cans require to be 100% hollow to the bare metal, including SCR can that has to be cut open hollowed, and welded shut. == All the modules need to stay connected under the truck. .. a single sensor or 2 can be disconnected if necessary, but the modules that are strapped to the sides of the cans, etc. need to stay plugged into the network to prevent terminating resistor at the far end from getting unplugged (otherwise, it leads to random turbo issues at the other end of network). == Thick block plate(s) between cylinder #1 and egr cooler entrance installed, and another at the intake where egr meets the manifold. == Leave as much plugged in and in tact, in place, as you can. Otherwise your setting yourself up for a lot of red flags at some point in the future. Stripping stuffs off, etc. is ugly and also makes red flags on inspections. == As far as Programming ... this may help... info: https://rawze.com/forums/showthread.php?...5#pid72945 User's Signature: ->: What I post is just my own thoughts and Opinions! --- I AM Full Of S__T!. | |||
