Was this cal swap right? Okay final got into the ecm, with APC's help (much thanks). seeing lots of bad and stupid cal swaps on here i have to ask if someone knew what they were doing. For reference engine is 2016 isb 6.7 b101 s/n 58671543 The cal that is in it is DT90302.11 the cal that was factory was DT90284.06? The power is the same so im wondering if the new cal supersede the old one and are they close enough to use. Plus was looking around the engine and things are unplugged and wrong on the egr and aftertreatment systems wondering if it was demandated? Other reason to suspect with erg unplugged, no codes for it, dpf was hollowed (not well), no nox sensor codes with the wires cut to them. The nox sensor controller is missing. | |||

RE: Was this cal swap right? On smaller engines, it is not unusual to have a different program than is listed on Quickserv/th ecm. Manufacturers often do this, and the only way to find out what program belongs in it is to ask the vehicle maker instead of looking it up on cummins wwwsite. - Also if you have emissions stuffs unplugged and it is not throwing codes for it, then it most likely has a de-mandate file in it. Copy the program from the ECM and e-mail it to me for a proper review of what someone has done in there.
