egr cooler blockoff - sslack - 07-13-2026

I have a x15 that has been demandated. I am installing a new turbo and a non-egr manifold on it and looking for a complete block off kit to do away with the cooler, if such an animal exists.
Does anyone out there know of any? If so, I would greatly appreciate the info.

I would not suggest it, as it makes for red flags if anyone opens the hood.

next to that, The coolant flow from the water pump to the back of the block (passing thru the egr cooler) cannot be disabled. A 3/4" hose needs to be put in its place. Best thing is to simply keep the cooler in place because of this ... or a kit that allows for the coolant flow.

On the kits that keep the coolant flow going, do those just loop the coolent past where the cooler sat, or do they keep the cooler shell in place for the passage? Trying to picture what the flow-through versions actually do.

The one I used is a 1” stainless braided hose that replaced the cooler and looped it from the back of the pump to the back of the block
