Gear oil - Jchism3406 - 06-16-2025

Is it okay to use a gallon of
Super tech gear lubricant 80w/90 gl5 in a Cummins isx cm570. I see a few people recommends the sta lube but we don’t have it. And Amazon wants $75 for a gallon. And also I’m sorry if this has been posted before. Don’t know how to use the search function here

That’s what I mostly use in my 871. I liked the Sta-Lube, and would order it online until they started making it out of gold bullion. I don’t know who pays those prices, but it’s not me.

If you look just above the 'Gossip Box' on the left of the page, you will see a white box with the message "enhanced by G." Thats where the keywords will be entered for searches.

Type in a keyword(s) (in this case for example, gear oil), press the blue box with the magnifying glass, and it will bring up, in a separate pop-up, any related threads/posts containing those keywords.

Excellent tool to use as this forum has loads of info covering a lot of ground!
