RE: derate 3712, 3714, 2976 - montrose818 - 09-11-2025 second one RE: derate 3712, 3714, 2976 - Rawze - 09-11-2025 If your Insite is too old, it will not read them. RE: derate 3712, 3714, 2976 - montrose818 - 09-11-2025 Thanks, I believe its 8.5.2.81 Would that make it too old? I read your post that incal files need to be newer than 6 months old, does insite need to be absolute latest version also? What ither ootions do I have, I read about c@lterm? Hope I can do this myself but I am pushing a time frame. Much thanks RE: derate 3712, 3714, 2976 - tree98 - 09-11-2025 PM sent RE: derate 3712, 3714, 2976 - DVT873 - 09-13-2025 Cummins is making some changes. Ran into this a couple of weeks ago. A friend sent me whats in the attachment. I have not had a chance to try it yet. He says Cummins is moving toward locking down the ECMs. Not sure what that means. Most HD programs are transitioning to cloud-based services, similar to the light-duty world. RE: derate 3712, 3714, 2976 - montrose818 - 09-17-2025 Since getting it flashed may be harder than it appears, I would like tontry and resolve the code. The dosertemperature code, 2976, the pigtail in the doser is only two wire, is that the pigtail for the temp sensor, or to trigger doser to spray? I assume if only two wires, then it sprays the doser, in which case where is the temp reading from? Thank you RE: derate 3712, 3714, 2976 - tree98 - 09-18-2025 The wires going to the doser are to control the doser. What temperature reading are you talking about? RE: derate 3712, 3714, 2976 - montrose818 - 09-19-2025 code 2976 def dosing unit temperature - data erratic, intermittent, or incorrect RE: derate 3712, 3714, 2976 - montrose818 - 09-19-2025 thats what i figured, only 2 wires so shouldnt be temp, but where is that temp code being read from? |
